1. Romeo and Juliet
Dust, the hot city is engulfed in dust, hot, angry, powerful dust. The water is no salvation, it is coated in the stuff. Luxurious buildings are no salvation, coz you can see whats happening to the city through the window.
Is there a cool, damp garden somewhere thats paradise? Is there a warm happy place where I we can lay down our guns and relax?
Not at the moment, I’m engaged in a knife fight with Carlios Falconio, I’m going to die, I know it. I ran at him and flicked the knife across his chest, it was a deep scratch, but a scratch neverless. I felt my stomach go queasy and I looked down and saw a deep red patch around the gentle hand and the warm knife. I gasped for air, and fell down just managing to witness the man’s head being blown off. I was away from it all though. I woke up in heaven, it was beautiful, it was worth dying for, but even now, I dream of that cool, damp garden, that warm happy place.
2. Percy Bysshe Shelley
No ferns were bent by wind or time
In that unearthly garden. There was no wind
Nor time to bend and weigh
The ferns grew still
The air was silent
The ferns did not shake
And nothing moved
From here to the horizon
Nothing moved. The ferns grew thick upon the hill
The hill a broken mountain
The ferns grew thick
The ferns grew still
Down the hill to the beach
And far from the beach the waves did not move
The water was still and flat
As a desert of water, rippled by waves like dunes
That did not move
A desert of water stretching to the sky
And in the sky the clouds stood still
The wind blew not, the clouds stood still
Trapped by frozen winds in place.
From up the horizon nothing moved
No shred of action caught my eye
Above my head the stillness hung
Tense and expectant in the thickening air
Down from the zodiac I followed the sky
My gaze travelled down to earth
But nothing moved
The endless stretch of ferns grew still
And further still I drew my stare
From clouds to the horizon to my own
Uncomprehending feet
My feet were frozen stamped on earth
My legs were locked and body straight
Held stiff upright, frozen by the wind
Frozen by the time.
My arms were loose, as was my head
And neck to bend my gaze about
My fingers clamped on a clasp of bone
Ran up and down the tin handlings
And squeezed down upon a trigger.
So unexpected was the change!
The trigger burst! The ivory flared!
Life and motion leapt back into the world!
3. Marco Polo
I have crossed borders, I am in a new world, it was across the ocean, but you must remember, the great space rivers are designed so you can sail to a new world.
Its nothing like the last planet I stopped at, a cold, moon planet with giant heat radiators orbitting the small moon. Still, they offered good True Silver and some Spice Solution for the black market. I enter the bay of this planet whose mantle is so hot the ocean floor sometimes glows. This area is rich in Borach. A special sort of sand that is used in teas and incense. I sell most of my merchandise off at Lorsti Harbour, in a planet not too far away from here. I love my life, with my father and his friend, we travel to strange exotic planets in the outer system and bring back all the fineries that they have to offer. We strengthen ties with the inner and outer. But I feel myself wanting to live in the outer, Lord Lerrik Callern Hausauf, wants me to stay here.
I’ll kill him……….
If I have to………..

1. Hi, my name’s Foster. I believe I have an appointment?
2. What are you doing to that poor man?
3. What enhancements could I buy for 40 shekls?
4. Well, see you later.
1. Hi, my name’s Foster. I believe I have an appointment?
-Foster, Foster, no, I don’t believe so.
I just spoke to your secretary out there.
-My secretary? Oh yes, that’s right, I have a secretary. Please, excuse me. I get so confused.
Of course. My appointment?
-Certainly, certainly. What would you like done?
I’d like you to scissor a hole into the side of my head.
-Do you think that’s wise?
Well, surely you’ve performed the operation before?
-Thousands of times, give or take. Give or take. Right, if you’d like to lie down next to Mr Lamb, we can begin.
2. What are you doing to that poor man?
-Just practise, just practise. I like to keep my hand in when I’m not busy.
2.1. But he’s kicking and rolling around!
2.2. Oh well, fair enough.
2.1. But he’s kicking and rolling around!
-You’re damn right. That’s why I’ve had to seal him to the table.
You seal your patients to the table?
-It’s just a light soldering job. It takes five minutes to do and no more than eleven hours to unseal. Now, did you want to make an appointment?

2.2. Oh well, fair enough.

3. What enhancements could I buy for 40 shekls?
-For 40 shekls? Why, I could slit your gullet open from your dick to your tongue. How does that sound?
Well not that good, frankly.
-Don’t worry, you’ll be out for the whole time. And when you wake up, I’ll have sewn the gash closed with my patented Clean Armour Skin.
Anything else?
-Well, I could always up your sex drive. Or lower it, if you think that would be more useful.
What was that gullet slitting operation again?
-Very simple. I cut you open and close you up again, tighter and cleaner than before. Doctor’s patented Clean Armour Skin. Fancy it?
3.1. Sure. What’s the worst that could happen?
3.2. Maybe later.
3.1. Sure. What’s the worst that could happen?
-Just sit down here next to Mr Lamb. That’s the way. Now, open your eyes as wide as they’ll go and stare at this light.

4. Well, see you later.
